Our Scouts girls competed in their first WANL Futures challenge over the weekend, Unity, relentlessness and growth would be the perfect way to describe what it looked like.
We kicked off the weekend with a physical game, ending in a loss which kick started a weekend of being receptive to feedback and having an incredible work ethic. From there we had a couple of strong wins by convincing margins, and a couple of losses by 1 goal in the final seconds of both games.
We were commended for our strong development and how we look like the most tight knit group, which was wonderful to hear. There were many team and individual learnings from the weekend in which we look forward to bringing into our next challenge.
